On Friday March 20th 2020, Industrial Ecology’s Study Association (IESA-Shift) will organize the first university-wide career event on Sustainability at TU Delft. Our doors will be open to all master students who are interested in pursuing a sustainable career. Industrial Ecology (IE) is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on analyzing complex sustainability problems and finding and implementing solutions for them from a systems perspective.
This master program is taught in partnership between TU Delft and Leiden University. It explores diverse backgrounds of engineering principles such as renewable energy systems, design of sustainable technologies, and main analytical tools such as Life Cycle Assessment, Material Flow Analysis, and Environmental Input- Output Analysis.
It also encompasses the perspective of environmental and social science which covers closed-loop supply chains, multi-level perspective frameworks, strategic niche management, and backcasting analysis.
